Terms of Use — Silvianna for AniList

Welcome to Silvianna for AniList (“Silvianna”, “the App”).
Silvianna is a third-party iOS client that allows users to access and manage their AniList account in a native Apple environment.

By downloading, installing, or using Silvianna, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Ownership and Relationship to AniList

Silvianna is not affiliated with AniList, AniList.co, AniChart, or any of their partners.

• Silvianna is an independent client built on the official AniList GraphQL API.
• AniList and its related marks are owned by their respective proprietors.
• All media metadata, images, scores, and user data come from AniList and remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Silvianna does not claim ownership of:

• anime or manga metadata
• cover art
• character or staff profiles
• tags, genres, or relations
• user-generated lists or activity

2. Intended Use

Silvianna is designed solely for:

• browsing the AniList database
• tracking anime and manga progress
• interacting with AniList features where the API permits it

You may not use Silvianna to:

• perform automated scraping
• bypass AniList rate limits
• exploit API endpoints
• misuse login credentials
• perform actions that violate AniList’s own terms

If you violate AniList’s rules, Silvianna may refuse service or restrict features.

3. Account & Authentication

Your account is authenticated using official AniList OAuth.

• Silvianna does not store your password.
• Silvianna receives a token provided by AniList.
• You may revoke access at any time from your AniList account settings.

Silvianna may cache:

• media metadata
• cover images
• local settings
• offline data
• personal preferences

This information is stored locally on your device.

4. Local Data Storage

Some features require local storage, including:

• lists
• viewing history
• offline saved content
• widget configuration
• filters and theme preferences

Silvianna does not sell, rent, or trade your local device data.

If you uninstall Silvianna, locally cached data is erased.

5. Third-Party Services

Silvianna may provide optional functionality through:

• Apple App Store
• Apple TestFlight
• Cloudflare Pages (informational website)
• AniList API

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Silvianna is not responsible for their actions.

6. Widgets and Background Features

Silvianna includes widgets and extensions.

By enabling these, you understand:

• Widgets may display AniList-related metadata.
• Widgets may store local preferences on your device.
• Widget numbers or icons may refresh in the background.

Widgets never expose:

• private messages
• OAuth secrets
• account credentials

7. Limitations and No Guarantees

Silvianna provides access to AniList, but:

We cannot guarantee:

• availability of the AniList API
• correctness of metadata
• uptime of third-party services
• delivery of notifications
• accuracy of episode air dates

Silvianna may break temporarily if:

• AniList changes its API schema
• rate limits change
• endpoints are removed
• authentication systems change

8. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

Do not use Silvianna to:

• violate AniList terms
• engage in harassment, hate speech, spam, or abusive behavior
• reverse engineer or modify Silvianna binaries
• distribute cracked builds
• lease or resell access to the app or its features
• use bots or automation against the AniList API
• scrape or mass extract data

We may restrict or disable usage if Silvianna is used in abusive or non-intended ways.

9. Intellectual Property

You own:

• your AniList account
• your list preferences
• your ratings
• your notes

You do not own:

• anime or manga IP
• cover images or thumbnails
• trademarks or names
• studio logos or publisher metadata

All rights to anime, manga, character, staff, and related content belong to their creators or licensors.

10. In-App Purchases and Payments

Some features may require purchase such as upgrades or premium functionality.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store:

• are processed solely by Apple
• are governed by Apple’s payment terms
• follow Apple’s refund policies

Silvianna cannot grant refunds for App Store purchases.

11. Disclaimer of Warranty

Silvianna is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We do not guarantee:

• uninterrupted use
• future feature availability
• compatibility with future versions of iOS
• loss-free data storage
• permanent access to AniList services

You use Silvianna at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fairese LLC is not liable for:

• data loss
• corrupted local storage
• inaccurate metadata
• changes to the AniList API
• account suspension caused by user behavior
• decisions made based on app content
• bugs or software defects

13. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• restrict access
• disable features
• remove authorization
• revoke API usage

if users violate:

• these Terms
• AniList’s Terms
• Apple policies
• applicable laws

You may end your use at any time by uninstalling the App.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms over time.
When we do, the “Last updated” date will be revised.

Continued use of Silvianna means you accept the updated Terms.
