Thank you for using Silvianna! Version 26.1 includes the following new features and improvements:
Features
- Added a brand-new Advanced Search screen that lets you explore AniList using powerful, flexible filters such as format, year, season, score, status, and many others.
- Added quick access to top anime, trending anime, top movies, top manga, trending manga, and top manhwa on AniList.
- The Episodes Behind screen now shows not only episodes from the current season but also episodes you are behind on from earlier seasons.
- You can now tap any Genre or Tag on a media page to instantly find more anime or manga in the same category.
- Added a new screen explaining how to configure and customize widgets.
- Added brand-new widgets to track newly added anime and manga, or trending anime and manga.
- Trending and Newly Added widgets can now optionally show only items on the selected user’s list.
- Added a new “TBA” section in Search showing anime that have been announced but do not yet have a release date.
- Notifications have been refined with larger avatars and a more polished appearance.
- The Legal section in Settings has been moved into its own dedicated area.
- Tips have been redesigned to appear more clearly, show up at the right time, and be harder to dismiss accidentally.
- The What’s New screen has been refined to look better across different device sizes.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where favorite anime, manga, characters, and staff screens did not load correctly and timed out.
- Fixed incorrect colors in the filter editor when using Dark Mode.
- Updated all instances of “Anilist” to “AniList” for proper branding.
- Improved error messages shown when user lists fail to load.
- Fixed an issue where external links on media pages did not open correctly.
- Fixed an issue preventing media from being shared unless it was on the user’s list.
- Fixed an issue that caused empty sections to appear on media pages when no data was available.
- Fixed an issue where quick search showed the wrong UI when no results were found.
- The availability of adult tags when creating custom lists now correctly reflects whether adult content is enabled in the user’s AniList settings.
- Fixed an issue where navigating away from a user’s profile did not show a correct back button label.
- Fixed poster image shapes in widgets to use the correct container-relative shape.
- Episode Tracker widgets now allow users to choose whether Plan to Watch anime should appear.
- Fixed an issue where widgets in vibrant or accented mode displayed white rectangles instead of images.
Performance Improvements
- Improved anime and manga list queries and processing to make them faster while consuming less data and battery. Users with very large lists will see significantly better performance.
- Notifications now load faster with reduced overhead.
- Episode notification scheduling has been rewritten to reduce AniList API load, use less battery, and run faster.
- Widgets now refresh in a smarter round-robin pattern to avoid hitting AniList rate limits while staying up to date.
